Hello there, I'm JP!
A multimedia storyteller, sound designer, and content creator with a passion for nature, music, and purpose-driven storytelling.
Originally from the vibrant city of Guadalajara, Mexico, I grew up in a family where Mariachi was more than just music—it was the soundtrack to our lives. That early exposure to rhythm and performance sparked my journey into the world of audio and visual arts.
My love for the outdoors and the environment has always guided my path. Whether summiting Iztaccihuatl, one of Mexico’s highest peaks, or co-founding Villam, a podcast and non-profit platform focused on climate action, I’ve always believed in using storytelling to inspire change. Villam’s mission—to make science, nature, and environmental awareness accessible—led to thousands of followers and collaborations with diplomats, scientists, and educators across Latin America.
Professionally, I’ve worked on commercial sets as a sound mixer, boom operator, and sound designer. I’ve also produced top-ranking podcast episodes, built social media communities, and edited short-form content optimized for social platforms. I hold a diploma in Sound Design for Visual Media from Vancouver Film School and am currently pursuing a Business Advanced Diploma at BCIT to further strengthen my creative entrepreneurial skills.
From classical guitar at the Conservatory of Music of Guadalajara to marathons in Canada and podcasts in between—I'm driven by rhythm, resilience, and storytelling that connects.
Let’s create something impactful together.
